Ingredients
For the Multigrain pizza dough
- 2 cups of Multigrain flour
- 3/4th cup of lukewarm water at a temperature of 100 to 110 degrees Fahrenheit
- One teaspoon of honey
- Two teaspoons of dry active yeast
- Salt according to taste
- One tablespoon of virgin olive oil or any oil
For vegetable toppings
- 1/4th cup of pizza sauce
- 50 grams sliced or grated mozzarella cheese
- Ten quartered button mushrooms
- One thinly sliced capsicum
- One quartered zucchini
- One teaspoon of oregano or any other pizza seasoning
- Pepper and salt according to taste
- One tablespoon of oil
Cooking Process
- Add the honey into the lukewarm water and mix it well.
- In a massive bowl, add the multigrain flour, dry active yeast, and salt to taste. Mix each of the ingredients thoroughly.
- Now add the warm water with honey into the flour and start kneading. Keep kneading the ingredients till everything is combined well.
- Cover the dough with one tablespoon of oil. Put a wet cloth on the dough and allow it to rest in a warm corner for 2 hours.
- After 2 hours, preheat the microwave oven to 220 degrees Celsius for 20 minutes.
- During this time, start making the pizza topping. In a wok, heat one tablespoon of oil. Add all the vegetables like capsicum, mushroom, and zucchini.
- Stir fry the vegetables on high heat by adding salt and pepper to them. Cook till they get softened, and then turn the heat off.
- Dust the pans for making the pizza with some flour to prevent the pizza from sticking to the sides.
- Place the pizza dough according to the pan size or the thickness you like to eat.
- Pre-bake the pizza dough to form a crust for 5 to 7 minutes.
- After that, put the pizza sauce and layer it with the cooked vegetables. On the top, add plenty of cheese.
- Put the pizza inside the oven again till the cheese starts to bubble or the crust turns brown. It can take 6 to 9 minutes.
