Recipe of Multigrain Pizza with vegetables

Multigrain flour pizza is a wholesome recipe that you can chomp without guilt. If you are searching for a homemade recipe for healthy pizza with loads of vegetables, go through the below segment to learn more. 

Ingredients

For the Multigrain pizza dough

  • 2 cups of Multigrain flour
  • 3/4th cup of lukewarm water at a temperature of 100 to 110 degrees Fahrenheit
  • One teaspoon of honey
  • Two teaspoons of dry active yeast
  • Salt according to taste
  • One tablespoon of virgin olive oil or any oil

For vegetable toppings

  • 1/4th cup of pizza sauce
  • 50 grams sliced or grated mozzarella cheese
  • Ten quartered button mushrooms
  • One thinly sliced capsicum
  • One quartered zucchini
  • One teaspoon of oregano or any other pizza seasoning
  • Pepper and salt according to taste
  • One tablespoon of oil

Cooking Process

  1. Add the honey into the lukewarm water and mix it well.
  1. In a massive bowl, add the multigrain flour, dry active yeast, and salt to taste. Mix each of the ingredients thoroughly. 
  1. Now add the warm water with honey into the flour and start kneading. Keep kneading the ingredients till everything is combined well.
  1. Cover the dough with one tablespoon of oil. Put a wet cloth on the dough and allow it to rest in a warm corner for 2 hours. 
  1. After 2 hours, preheat the microwave oven to 220 degrees Celsius for 20 minutes. 
  1. During this time, start making the pizza topping. In a wok, heat one tablespoon of oil. Add all the vegetables like capsicum, mushroom, and zucchini. 
  1. Stir fry the vegetables on high heat by adding salt and pepper to them. Cook till they get softened, and then turn the heat off.
  1. Dust the pans for making the pizza with some flour to prevent the pizza from sticking to the sides. 
  1. Place the pizza dough according to the pan size or the thickness you like to eat. 
  1. Pre-bake the pizza dough to form a crust for 5 to 7 minutes. 
  1. After that, put the pizza sauce and layer it with the cooked vegetables. On the top, add plenty of cheese. 
  1. Put the pizza inside the oven again till the cheese starts to bubble or the crust turns brown. It can take 6 to 9 minutes. 
  1. Once done, serve it by sprinkling some oregano and chili flakes.
